Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Molding

Isometric has a dedicated cleanroom for Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) micro injection molding. Known for being a biocompatible, hypoallergenic material, medical grade silicone can be used in a variety of medical devices including long-term implantable, diagnostic, drug delivery, microfluidic, ocular, otologic and wearable devices.

LSR can be used for molding high precision components with thin-walls and tight tolerances. It is easy to mold at lower pressures and since it is a closed system, it is a clean manufacturing process avoiding issues with outside contaminants.

LSR can withstand extreme high/low temperatures, and is an ideal material for medical components and seals.

Isometric provides complete in-house processes from our expert mold making capabilities that are ideally suited for LSR where molds need to be extremely tight to high-volume production.
